On January 16, at the Barrington Public Library, Scott Turner, feature writer for "The Providence Journal", will compare and contrast a local nature walk with the beauty it offers to our own cultivated gardens and their splendor and how they both transform over the seasons.
Scott teaches two English courses at Providence College and a storytelling class at Brown University. He is a nature commentator and writer, a former land manager, park ranger and science writer who lives in Providence with his wife and two children.
The meeting with refreshments will be at 6:00 pm...please note the change of time. Guest fee is $5.00.
