January 17, 2023, at the Barrington Public Library, Barrington Garden will present Joe Verstandig, Newport Tree Conservancy's Living Collection Manager. Joe will delve into details about New England's native woody plants for us. He will explore both the criteria for being deemed a native plant and the role which native plants play in the ecosystem. Through lush slides, he will show us examples of natives and guide us in ways we can incorporate them into our landscapes.
