Barrington Garden Club Events

Barrington Garden Club has started its new program season in a different format. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, BGC has resumed regular meetings in an irregular form by using Zoom for the foreseeable future.

September's program featured club member, Meghan Frost, who gave a Power Point presentation of "The Barrington Land Conservation Trust: A Hidden Gem". Meghan is chair of the Barrington Land Conservation Trust Education Committee. She discussed the history, mission, structure and work being done today by the Land Trust, highlighting how this assures that the natural resources of  Barrington will remain one of its greatest assets for future generations.

Members are maintaining the gardens around town by gathering in small groups wearing masks and keeping socially distant. Please enjoy the new plantings at the library's MacIntyre Garden.
